On Wednesday, the first day of his two-day visit to Washington, Dacic met with Congressmen Robert Aderholt, Eliot Angel, Dana Rorabecker and Tad Poe, the Serbian government's press office said in a release on the same day.
"The U.S. officials said that the U.S. is giving its full support to Serbia's European path. The U.S. lauds the reforms in Serbia and efforts made by the Serbian government to reach a just solution to the problems in Kosovo-Metohija through the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina and using peaceful means," the statement said.

Dacic said that the aim of the meeting with the congressmen was to inform them about the Serbian government's political platform and priorities, particularly in the area of European integration and efforts to find a just solution to the problems in KiM.

"The Serbian government is doing everything to ensure a better life for its citizens, attract foreign investment and establish better relations in the region," said Dacic.
