Dacic: Realization of agreements not questioned

Serbian Prime Minister Ivica Dacic stated Tuesday that the realization of agreements reached in dialogue with Pristina, with respect for Serbia's state and national interests, is not being questioned.

"No one should think that the government would do anything against the interest of Serbs. Our interest is to implement bad agreements we made and accepted in a way that will not lead to a change in our stance when it comes to the status of Kosovo-Metohija," Dacic said, Radio-Television of Serbia reported.

The prime minister added that there would have been much more damage had the country isolated itself from this processes, because, in that case, "others would decide" on Serbia.

"This way, Serbia participates as an equal partner in agreements and decides on its own destiny," Dacic concluded.
