Drecun expects end of protests on crossings
Chairman of the Serbian parliament Committee on Kosovo Milovan Drecun expressed the expectation that the decision to end protests on administrative crossings will be adopted after the Thursday meeting between representatives of northern Kosovo Serbs and government top officials and that the Serbs in the province would accept the results of the dialogue in Brussels.

He said that the talks are going along a thin line now and that the scenario should be avoided according to which Serbia would be declared the offender which refused to resolve the problems in the dialogue.
"I want to remind you that we have observed an accumulation of EULEX and KFOR forces to the south of the Ibar River which means that the forces are ready for a potential intervention," Drecun said and warned that neither Serbia nor Serbs in northern part of the province should give any excuse for any intervention of the forces because this will lead to a completely destabilising and uncertain process, Drecun warned.
Northern Kosovo Serbs continued peaceful protests at Jarinje administrative crossing for the second night in a row and blocked the new crossing because they want guarantees that there will be no charging of customs clearance there and that no border would be set up between Kosovo and central Serbia.
Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic will conduct talks with northern Kosovo Serbs at 3 p.m. in the Presidency building, the president's press service stated.
