Vulin: Liaison officers without diplomatic status
Director of the Serbian government's office for Kosovo Aleksandar Vulin has said that a representative of Pristina's interim institutions in Belgrade, as well as one of the Serbian government in Pristina, will be liaison officers and will not have any diplomatic status.

However, Vulin said that the regime would not be valid for him, since as a government official he has to announce his visit to EULEX, which would then grant a permit or not. He voiced hope that incidents that had previously occurred when he entered the province would not happen again.
He explained that a representative of Pristina's interim institutions would be within the EU delegation in Belgrade, and a representative of the Serbian government would be part of the EU delegation in Pristina.
The representatives are not diplomats and do not enjoy diplomatic privileges or a diplomatic immunity, Vulin said, adding that liaison officers would monitor the implementation of agreements.
According to Vulin, the main and the most important issue which should be resolved urgently is the security of Serbs in Kosovo.
Murders have recently taken place in Kosovo, incidents happen all the time, as well as incessant robberies and destroyal of Serb property, private and state one, Vulin noted, adding that the international community has a duty to ensure safety of Serbs.
