He told the Kosovo radio that the leadership of the Gracanica municipality, in which the Serb majority is in power, was celebrating the New Year and the third anniversary of its work in that bar.
"We reacted immediately and called the police, which removed the explosive device quickly and carried out a security check on other cars in the vicinity," Stojanovic said, adding that they cautioned for months that the Municipality of Gracanica has been constantly persecuted.
Gracanica police commander Bratislav Trajkovic stated that the intervention unit of the Kosovo police removed the hand grenade from Aritonovic's car late Monday.
He added that the case was qualified as causing general danger and that there are still no suspects, but that an investigation is underway.
