Seven polling stations ready for elections in Mitrovica
The parliamentary elections in the north of Kosovo run by the Pristina authorities will be held on Sunday for the first time, preparations are under way as planned and seven polling centers have been opened in the northern part of Kosovska Mitrovica.

Slobodan Dimitrijevic, president of the Municipal Electoral Commission in North Mitrovica, told Tanjug on Saturday that for now, the preparations for the early parliamentary elections are on schedule."Although everything was done in a hurry, we did our best to meet all deadlines. Yesterday, we toured all seven polling centers in the municipality of North Mitrovica and all centers will be ready as well as the polling stations," he said.Dimitrijevic said that everything will be same as in the previous elections held in this city, and 33 polling stations will be opened in seven voting centers, while the appointment of members of the voting committees, managers of election centers and technical staff has been completed.The Municipal Electoral Commission in Mitrovica has not yet obtained the final electoral roll from the Central Electoral Commission since the OSCE will bring complete voter materials on the day of the election in Mitrovica and submit it to officers at the polling places, he explained.Dimitrijevic said that the votes will be counted in Kosovska Mitrovica at the polls, which will open at 07:00 CET on Sunday.
