The Serbian Orthodox Church’s Diocese of Raska-Prizren and Kosovo on Wednesday condemned what it called the “utterly demonic and blasphemous choreography” in the video filmed by Kosovo band Era Istrefi Featuring Mixey at the abandoned cathedral in Pristina. In the video, which was posted on YouTube, a woman with dreadlocks, showing her breasts through a transparent shirt, dances in the cathedral alongside three other band members, one of whom has the words “Don’t pose” scrawled on his naked chest.“Unfortunately, this latest incident shows what a sad position the Orthodox Church is in," the diocese said in a statement.Construction of Christ the Saviour began in 1990 but stopped in 1998 when the Kosovo war erupted. The cathedral is now abandoned and the main entrance is covered with barbed wire.In recent years, several Kosovo non-governmental organisations have called for it to be destroyed or turned into a memorial museum for the Kosovo Liberation Army.
