UNSC hold session on Ban Ki-Moon’s proposal for Unmik
The UN Security Council are holding on Friday a session on Secretary General Ban Ki-moon's report on Kosovo, which envisages the “reconfiguration” of Unmik – which includes a sort of “green light” for the deployment of the Eulex mission under UN umbrella – a move resolutely opposed by Belgrade and Moscow.

Serbian President Boris Tadic is attending the session, while the Kosovo president Fatmir Sejdiu will be attending as a private person since Kosovo is not recognized at the UN as an independent country.
According to the plan, the UN secretary general will first present his latest report on Kosovo in which he proposes the reconfiguration of UNMIK, and after that Tadic will address the participants, followed by Sejdiu.
The UN Security Council Ambassadors will then hold a discussion and present their stands.
