Kosovo president: “I am not ashamed at all” by Serb plight
Kosovo’s ethnic Albanian President Fatmir Sejdiu said he felt no shame over the plight of the Serbian community.

"I don't feel ashamed at all," Sejdiu said.
"Kosovo has emerged from a big trauma, so time and engagement on the part of all citizens are necessary to overcome fears and to stop negation of development process. There is also a need for Serbian citizens to become more courageous," Sejdiu said.
"The time will come when Kosovo won't tolerate any dualism and extra-institutional forms which create illusions for some citizens, and cause problems in state institutions and in law-enforcement," he added, referring to the establishment of local Serbian parallel structures.
Sejdiu said most of the practical problems Kosovo Serbs faced were caused by "part of the citizens who remain hostages to the old approach".
