Pristina names its first ambassadors

The Kosovo Albanian authorities in Pristina have proposed the names of their first eleven ambassadors

In Washington, it will be Avni Spahiu, director of Radio Kosovo; in New York, a journalist for television RTK; in Paris, a professor of philosophy, Muhamedin Kullashi; in London, adviser to president Fatmir Sejdiu Muhamet Hamiti; in Ankara, Bekim Sejdiu, an adviser to the foreign minister.

Vilson Mirdita will serve in Berlin, Albert Prenkaj in Rome, Sabri Kicmari in Vienna, Gazmend Pula in Tirana, Naim Mala in Bern, and Ilir Dugolli of the think-tank Kosovo Institute for Policy Research and Development, KIPRED, will be going to Brussels.

Forty-six out of 192 UN member countries have recognized Kosovo's secession.
