The director of the project Aleksandar Mitic said that the new project intends to show the changes that have occurred in the Kosovo status process since 2006, including the reasons behind the failures of the Ahtisaari talks, the opportunities for the Serbian proposal in the new troika rounds, as well as the dangers that still accompany the process.
"There are three main dangers for the process: a unilateral declaration of independence of Kosovo and its recognition, a loose interpretation of the UN Security Council resolution 1244 and a negative implementation of an agreement which might seem correct on the paper", he said.
Creative director Boris Mitic presented the four main products of the project: the cd-rom "Kosovo 2007: The Fast-Track to Europe", the "Kosovo Compromise Charts", the analytical newsletter "In Press 4S" and the web site http://www.kosovocompromise.com/.
Speaking as guest speaker, Serbian State Secretary for Kosovo Dusan Prorokovic said it was now clear that "December 10 would not be a red line for the status talks".
