The Serbs were in the town of Decani, near the medieval Serb monastery of Visoki Decani, as members of a working group for the return of the Serbs driven out of their homes.

A group of local Albanians attacked them physically and verbally, shouting offenses and telling them "you are not welcome here, there can't be any good days for you here", Zoran Barovic, a Serb from Decani, said.

The incident took place in front of the town hall. The working group members were told that they can return to Kosovo "only if they recognize the state of Kosovo", while should they represent Serbia, "they are not welcome in Decani".

Kosovo police, KPS, intervened to escort the Serbs.

Meanwhile, in central Kosovo, medicine for Serb enclaves were let through by the Unmik customs after 20 days.

Rada Trajkovic, director of the Gracanica Health Center, said that the medicine should reach health institutions in Kosovo Polje and the surrounding enclaves later in the day, when it would be checked to see if was still usable, given that it had been "held in inadequate conditions" for over 20 days.

According to her, the medicine was allowed to pass after diplomatic officials from Priština intervened.
