The trade balance registered a negative trend of 20.6 percent, the inflation rate was 12.9 percent, collection of budget revenues dropped by 8.5 percent, government expenditure increased by 18.1 percent, imports increased, and scrap metal remained the main item in exports.

The report said that the share of customs duties, taxes and excise duties at border crossings increased from last year's 53 percent to this year's 65 percent, which was an unfavourable factor because budgetary revenue was mostly secured at border crossings.

In comparison with last year, exports registered a growth of 101 percent, but the structure of export was very bad, because it mostly consisted of metal and scrap metal.
