In their separate statements with journalists, they underscored that it is necessary to inform the MPs about whom among Serbia 's officials and in what way is negotiating on the role of Eulex in Kosovo.
On the other side, representatives of the ruling coalition explained that parliament members may request a committee of the National Assembly to be called to discuss the country's foreign policy.
New Serbia Whip Velimir Ilic said that he is surprised that a debate on the role of EULEX in Kosovo had not been opened yet, evaluating that "legalization of EULEX means recognition of Kosovo's independence."
Forward Serbia Whip Tomislav Nikolic said he expects "that someone will explain to the parliament members what the negotiations are about."
Democratic Party of Serbia Whip Milos Aligrudic evaluated that "whatever the effort is placed above Eulex, the aim for which it has the EU's mandate means, in fact, work on establishing independence of Kosovo."
