No change in EU plans for EULEX

The European Union has not changed its plans for the start of EULEX activities in the beginning of December, despite the rejection by Kosovo authorities of the UN plan for UNMIK reconfiguration, sources in the office of EU High Representative for foreign policy and security Javier Solana said on Tuesday

"Talks are continuing and plans have not changed", they said, refusing to comment Pristina's rejection of the UN six-point plan or the four-point draft declaration presented by Kosovo Albanian leaders Tuesday.

"All talks in the EU focus on Joint Action for EULEX adopted in February, regardless of any talks held by the UN, US, Russia, Belgrade or Pristina", the sources said.
