Eulex to reach “initial operational capability” on Tuesday
The European Union mission in Kosovo Eulex is set to reach its “initial operatioonal capability” on Tuesday, while the exact date for the launch of the mission will be known during the week, the EU Political and Security Committee concluded

Meanwhile, Serbian President Boris Tadic and EU High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy Javier Solana on Friday exchanged letters in which they confirmed their dedication to the deployment of Eulex in keeping with the report of United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and the presidential statement adopted at the UN Security Council session on November 26.
In Pristina, Victor Ruter, a spokesman for Eulex, said that some 1,300 international officials and several hundred locals are ready to launch the European Union mission.
