Former UNMIK team head says Haradinaj silenced witnesses
Jose Pablo Baraybar, who headed a team of the United Nations mission UNMIK and the Prosecutor's Office of The Hague Tribunal that visited the house in northern Albania suspected of being the site where organs were harvested from Serbs kidnapped in Kosovo, said the witnesses in these investigations literally disappeared when the investigation against Fatmir Limaj and former Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj was opened

"There were leads that needed to be followed. Politicians should answer why the investigation was not followed through. The current investigation by the Council of Europe will be the best way to discover what happened. However, it might be problem what can be discovered nine years after the fact", Baraybar said for the Friday edition of the Belgrade daily Vecernje novosti.
