Three policemen injured in Kosovska Mitrovica attack
Three Kosovo Police Service (KPS) members were injured in the Bosnjacka Mahala settlement in the northern part of Kosovska Mitrovica on Monday during an attack by local Albanians

The attacked police patrol was mixed - it consisted of one Kosovo Albanian, one Serb and one Muslim.
Doctor on duty at the Kosovska Mitrovica Hospital Aleksandar Vasic said that three police officers had requested assistance. The hospital later said that the police officers had sustained light injuries and were released home at once.
KPS Commander in northern Kosovska Mitrovica Milija Milosevic said that three police officers had been attacked by Kosovo Albanians in Bosnjacka Mahala.
Two attackers were arrested but released on Tuesday.
"Police of the northern station apprehended two persons who were given 72-hour detention. This morning, however, the public prosecutor issued an order and the arrested persons were released and will be permitted to defend themselves as free citizens," KPS deputy commander for nothern Mitrovica Predrag Vasovic said. Police are still intensely searching for the third attacker on the police patrol, he said.
Bosnjacka Mahala is an ethnically mixed part of town in northern Kosovska Mitrovica. In addition to Serbs, its population includes also Kosovo Albanians, Bosniaks and a number of Gorani.
