Jeremic: ICJ to decide in 2010
Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic has stated that the Hague-based International Court of Justice (ICJ) will decide about Serbia's request for assessment of the legality of Kosovo's unilateral independence declaration next year.

"I believe that we will get that decision in 2010. But, we will not let the problem of Kosovo be pushed aside in the international arena. We will do everything to prevent accession of Kosovo by international organizations," Jeremic said in an interview.
"A lot of scope needs to be left for finding a solution. Such a decision from the ICJ will make it clear that negotiations will be necessary in order to remove this difficult institutional and security problem," Jeremic said.
"We are working on creating the circumstances for reopening negotiations. We will discuss cooperation once these negotiations become a reality,' Jeremic said.
He added that Serbia has no intention of seeking a partition of Kosovo, denying that the Serbia-EU-UN six-point plan is a prelude to such a move.
Asked whether an idea for partition existed, he replied: "Not within the Serbian government."
