Kosovo Serbs collect yule logs for Christmas, no incidents
Kosovo Serbs have been cutting badnjak - dry branches from yule logs, found in surrounding forests from the early morning hours on Tuesday, and automobiles decorated with these branches are sounding their horns in Kosovska Mitrovica to announce Christmas according to the Julian calendar as it is celebrated among Serb Orthodox Christians.

A stepped up presence of KFOR troops, members of the Kosovo Police Service (KPS), but also EULEX Police patrols deployed at several points in the town, was noted in Kosovska Mitrovica.
