Feith proposes new consultative body on the implementation of UN plan
Pieter Feith, the Special EU representative in Kosovo, who also holds the position of the head of the controversial "International Civilian Office", has proposed the creation of a consultative body for the implementation of UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon' s conclusions, the Pristina media have reported.

The issues referring to the chain of command for Serb members of the Kosovo Police, the collection and distribution of customs revenue (from Jarinje and Brnjak crossings) and the functioning of the courts in the north of Kosovo are considered priority issues by the highest international authorities in Pristina, the daily reported, referring to international diplomats in Kosovo.
"The goal of Feith's proposal is the creation of a local body which will address these issues", the daily said.
In Belgrade, Minister for Kosovo Goran Bogdanovic has said that Belgrade is ready to have talks, which will define the six points of the UN report, only with the legitimate representatives of the international community, "UNMIK and EULEX being the most important ones."
"These are the only collocutors with whom official Belgrade, as well as the representatives of local Serbs, can seek, by way of dialogue, further solutions regarding the six points specified in Ban Ki-Moon's report," Bogdanovic said, referring to Feith's role of "International Civilian Representative", a function proposed by the Ahtisaari plan but never accepted at the UN level.
