In a text on possible negotiations, the Koha Ditore daily wrote that "international pressure on Kosovo institutions for holding a meeting between top Kosovo and Serbian representatives until the end of January was stepped up this week."
The daily said that Kosovo President Sejdiu and Prime Minister Hashim Thaci had met with UNMIK head Lamberto Zannier and EU special representative in Kosovo Peter Feith and informed them about Pristina's conditions for possible talks.
"If there are any technical issues which the government believes are in the interest of citizens and stability of the country and which go towards the promotion of inter-governmental relations, talks may be held," Sejdiu said.
