ICTY: Milutinovic acquitted, others 15-22 years imprisonment
The International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) on Thursday acquitted former Serbian President Milan Milutiovic of charges against him for crimes against humanity and violations of the laws and customs of war in Kosovo in 1999.

In the first verdict for the crimes against Kosovo Albanians, the Trial Chamber, however, found guilty five Serbian political, military and police officials and sentenced former FRY Deputy Prime Minister Nikola Sainovic to 22 years of imprisonment, and former Yugoslav Army Chief of General Staff General Dragoljub Ojdanic to 15 years of imprisonment.
Commander of the Third Army of the Yugoslav Army General Nebojsa Pavkovic was sentenced to 22 years in prison, Commander of the Pristina Corps and Chief of General Staff of the Third Army General Vladimir Lazarevic to 15 years in prison and Police Chief for Kosovo and Gen. Sreten Lukic to 22 years in prison.
