New battle for the domain name Kosovo.com
The domain name Kosovo.com, long used by the Serbian Orthodox Church, has been put on auction for the second time by its owner at Sedo, an established marketplace for buying and selling domain names.

This auction, much likely to arouse intersest from both Serb and Albanian PR groups, is ending on March 11. Kosovo.com has now reached the price of 32,500 euros, surpassing the proposed reserve price. Previous auctions through Sedo have not concluded as the seller had set a reserve price that was not met.
Several international industry experts have valued the domain far above the USD 100,000 mark. Recent geodomains sales are Melbourne.com for $700,000, Iran.com for $400,000, Malaysia.com for $400,000, Gibraltar.com for $360,000.
