The house of Zivko Dabizljevic was completely destroyed by the fire which was started on purpose, while the house of Milorad Dabizljevic was partly damaged.

"There was no one in the houses when the fire broke out...At the time of the arson, there was a blackout in Drsnik," said Sveto Dabizljevic, adding that the arson is aimed at driving the last Serb out of the Metohia region, in western Kosovo.

He underscored that the incident indicates that the Albanians do not wish to live together with the Serbs and that EULEX is not doing its job.

Meanwhile, the Kosovo Police Service brutally harassed the crew of the Kosovo Serb Glas Juga television production and Radio KiM from Caglavica on their return from a Serb protest in the village of Silovo, the media editorial offices stated.

"On their way out of the village, a KPS vehicle overtook and  intercepted their vehicle. A policeman came out of the jeep, approached the reporters' vehicle, pulled the camera operator out and started kicking him", the statement said.

Glas Juga cameraman Bojan Kosanin said that the KPS members were extremely rough during the search, did not ask for any identification,  and also pulled out of the car his colleague Marijana Simic, journalist of Radio KiM.

"After they searched us, they went back to their jeep and drove away without a word", Kosanin said.

Marijana Simic said that it was a clear demonstration of force, an indicator of the conditions under which Serb reporters work in Kosovo.
