Russian ambassador urges Kosovo status talks resumption
Russian Ambassador to Serbia Alexander Konuzin expressed Thursday in Kosovska Mitrovica his conviction that talks on Kosovo status can be resumed on the basis of firm defense of Serbia's and Russia's stand on that issue.

He pointed to the need for focusing on maintaining this process within a political framework, adding that the Kosovo issue should remain on the UN agenda, and that endeavors should be exerted to prevent Kosovo accession to international organizations.
Russia will continue to cooperate closely with the Serbian government in implementing this policy and getting support to its stand, he said.
Konuzin gave a lecture on Russia in the modern world at the Kosovska Mitrovica School of Technical Sciences.
