EU mission announces full operation in Kosovo
The EU Rule of Law Mission (EULEX) announced Monday it has managed to become fully operational in whole Kosovo months after its deployment.

Progress will not be achieved overnight. But we know that respect for the principle of the rule of law, for the rights of the individuals, and for the independence and the impartiality of the justice, are key to EULEX success, and ultimately to Kosovo success," said Eulex chief Yves de Kermabon.
He made the remarks at the inauguration ceremony of the EULEX headquarters in Pristina.
EULEX became operational in Kosovo on December 9.
Kosovo Serbs strongly opposed EULEX's deployment last year, considering it an illegal mission.
