EULEX again throws tear gas at Serbs in Kosovska Mitrovica
EULEX police once more Wednesday prevented the Serbs from the settlement of Brdjani in northern Kosovska Mitrovica from reaching the so-called yellow line which separates Serbs from ethnic Albanians in the settlement.

After the Serbs had broken through the Kosovo Police Service cordon, the EULEX police reacted by throwing tear gas at Serbs, but no one was injured in the incident.
The Serbs have been protesting for twelve days now, opposing the the renovation of the Albanian houses in Brdjani, demanding reciprocity in returns.
"We request that we be allowed, just like Albanians are, to build on this location and to be guaranteed security like any other ethnic community is," one of the Serb representatives from Brdjani settlement Nebojsa Minic stated.
