Dragan Nikolic, the head of the Kosovo Morava River basin district, said that the Serbs demand another provider, that their electric power consumption is measured collectively and that the electrical grid in Serbian areas is maintained by the Electric Power Industry of Serbia.

Nikolic said that at tomorrow's protest, which is expected to be attended by many people from that part of Kosovo, a letter addressed to Serbian President Boris Tadic will be read out in public.

On Wednesday, the Kosovo Energy Corporation (KEK) cut off power to the 3,000 Serbs living in the village of Pasjane, as well as to some parts of Partes, Budrig and Pones, Nikolic confirmed.

In the Kosovo Morava River basin district another 14 villages have remained without electricity.
