The Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) of former Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica organized in downtown Belgrade an exhibition of photographs of victims of the 1999 NATO bombing, of which Biden was a major supporter.

The Vice-President of the DSS, Slobodan Samardzic, stated Wednesday that Biden  clearly indicated during his visit that Serbia is being imposed the condition to at least tacitly recognize the independence of Kosovo.

Samardzic told the reporters in the parliment that Serbian President Boris Tadic needed to point out to Biden during their meeting that "Serbia will regard Kosovo as a part of Serbia and will politically act in accordance with the fact."

The Serb Radical Party (SRS) distributed to citizens pamphlets proclaiming Biden a "persona non grata" in Serbia.

Kosovo Serbs in northern Kosovska Mitrovica are also planning protests against Biden's visit to Pristina.
