Obama appoints new U.S. Ambassador to Kosovo
U.S. President Barrack Obama appointed Christopher Dell as the new U.S. Ambassador to Kosovo, the U.S. State Department has announced.

After ambassador Tina Kaidanow, Dell is the second U.S. Ambassador appointed to Pristina since the unilateral proclamation of independence of the southern Serbian province on February 17, 2008.
Dell is a career diplomat with many years of experience in crisis areas including Kosovo where he served as Chief of U.S. mission in Pristina in 2000-01.
