Jeremic in Azerbaijan: No exceptions in respect to border inviolability

"In the 21st Century, the issue of territorial wholeness of the countries is of great importance for peace and stability", the Serbian foreign minister said after a meeting with his Azerbaijan counterpart Elmar Mammadyarov.
The Azerbaijan foreign minister said the two countries held that the issues of Kosovo and Nagorno-Karabakh should be resolved at an international level, in keeping with international law and principles.
"The position of both countries is that conflicts should be settled in keeping with international principles, and by saying this, we are referring to the principles of territorial wholeness, sovereignty and inviolability of internationally recognized borders", Mammadyarov said.
According to him, Azerbaijan and Serbia share the position that the borders of both countries should remain the same as they had been at the time of their admission into the UN.
