Jeremic, who will attend the 13th summit of the African Union in Sirte, Lybia, said that only 6 out of 53 members of the African Union have recognised Kosovo independence.
The African Union is a heterogeneous organisation on which pressure is being exerted by both Western countries and Saudi Arabia to recognise Kosovo, Jeremic explained.
Serbia is taking part in the African Union summit as a guest country of the chairing Libyan Arab Jamahiriya.
