Pristina deprives Kosovo people free travel to EU
The Kosovo Albanian authorities in Pristina are depriving Kosovo people free travel to the European Union by seeking from the European Commission to refuse putting them on the so-called "White Schengen" list for Serbia, synonymous of visa-free travel.

Reacting to these demands, the EC has stated that all those who have a Serbian passport and live on the territory of Kosovo will not be eligible for visa liberalization, Kosovo media report, .
Media reports state that around 1,500 Albanians have already received Serbian biometric passports, while about 7,600 have applied.
Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Hajredin Kuqi said that the EU had legally and politically stated that Kosovo citizens should not be taking Serbian identification documents. will be adopted with a recommendation that visa liberalization should not apply to Kosovo residents.
Serbia is about to be put on the White Schengen list by the end of the year or early next year.
