Malovic said after the meeting that she expects Marty's report to the Council of Europe General Assembly to lead to further investigation on the trafficking of body parts of kidnapped and missing Serbs and other non-Albanians  in northern Albania.

Once it hears the report, the CE GA should be able to take a stand on further steps that regional judiciary institutions should take, she said.

Malovic said she assured Marty that Serbia's Justice Ministry will provide all the necessary assistance in this case.

She noted that she informed Marty that about 1,300 Serbs and other non-Albanians were reported missing since 1998 in Kosovo, that the remains of only 300 have been found and handed over to their families.

The book "The Hunt" by former Chief ICTY Prosecutor Carla del Ponte revealed for the first time evidence on  human organ trafficking and Serbian War Crime Prosecution immediately went to work on the case, she said.

Malovic also said that she informed Marty that extensive evidence, including testimonies by witnesses, photographs and an UNMIK report confirming suspicions on human organ trafficking, has been collected.

The work of the Serbian War Crime Prosecution is hindered by the refusal of Albanian authorities to allow Serbian investigators to do their work in Albania, she said.
