Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic, who is accompanying him, said some 30 countries were under pressure to recognize Kosovo.

Meanwhile, Kosovo Albanian president Fatmir Sejdiu will be in New York from September 22 to 29, and will hold meetings with foreign ministers of various countreis.

On September 17, Pristina-based Koha Ditore said that UN missions representing the Quint countries - the US, UK, Germany, France and Italy - along with Albania had helped set up meetings in New York for Sejdiu.
