The Secretariat conducted an investigation and announced that Sejdiu was most likely taken to the UN building "by Albania".
"The United Nations did not issue passes to the Kosovo representatives to enter the General Assembly hall," Varma has stated.
He also explained that all UN GA participants have at their disposal a number of passes that they can "give to whomever they want, allowing them to observe the session from a special room".
On Saturday, Belgrade demanded of the UN Secretariat to open an investigation and see how it was possible to allow Sejdiu and members of the Kosovo provisional administrationd delegation access as private persons to the UN seat during the General Assembly sitting.
