Serbian President Boris Tadic warned that any unilateral decisions leading to independent Kosovo would immediately result with instability in region, but also to Serbian relations with countries which would support that move.

"Such a decision of the Kosovo Albanians would immediately cause instability. Anything is possible. I try not to think about possible scenarios, but everything is possible, even violence," Tadic said in an interview.
Speaking ahead of the Monday's round of talks between Belgrade and Pristina on the status of Kosovo, the Serbian president also warned of the consequences such a move would have on Serbian political scene, with hard-line nationalists taking the advantage of crisis. "Some believe that stability of two million Albanians in Kosovo is more important than instability of ten million Serbs," he said.
Tadic warned that Serbia's relations with "countries which would recognize" unilaterally declared independence of Kosovo "would no longer be the same".
