"In the future, Russia will support the defense of Serbia's territorial integrity", Medvedev said at a joint conference with Tadic.
Serbia's president thanked Moscow for its support and said Belgrade will "never recognize Kosovo, neither implicitly nor explicitly".
"Following the decision of the International Court of Justice, we will call for new talks on finding a sustainable Kosovo compromise solution", Tadic said.
Medvedev is on his first official visit to Belgrade as Russia's president.
