Three Serb parties form governing coalition in Gracanica
The Democratic Party of Serbian President Boris Tadic and the two main opposition parties in Serbia - the Serbian Progressive Party of Tomislav Nikolic and the Democratic Party of Serbia of Vojislav Kostunica - have entered into a new governing coalition in Gracanica, near Pristina, the main Serbian enclave in central Kosovo.

The president of the new municipal assembly will be Ratko Perenic of the Democratic Party.
The work of the assembly is being financed by Serbia.
Belgrade has organized its own local elections in Kosovo and has urged Kosovo Serbs not to participate in those organized by the Kosovo Albanian government in Pristina.
