A statement Tuesday from prosecutor Vladimir Vukcevic's office says he met Monday in Zurich with Swiss senator Dick Marty who is leading the Council of Europe investigation.
Vukcevic’s office gave no details about the new material.
The prosecution last year started an investigation into allegations that members of the ethnic Albanian Kosovo Liberation Army in 1999 kidapped hundreds of Kosovo Serb and other non-Albanian civilians in the province.
The victims were then taken to northern Albania where their vital organs were removed to be sold in the black market.
The case is informally known as the “Yellow House”, after a building in northern Albania where the organ extraction is believed to have taken place.
