Lebanon and Serbia to cooperate on Kosovo issue
Lebanon and Serbia have the same stances on the necessity to respect international law and will cooperate together in the future on the Kosovo issue, Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic said in Beirut.

Jeremic met in Beirut with President Michel Suleiman, Prime Minister Saad Hariri and Head of the Lebanese Diplomacy Ali Hussein al-Sham.
He thanked the Lebanese authorities for their continuous support to Serbia, relating to the preservation of its sovereignty and territorial integrity in Kosovo.
While pointing that in the following years the authorities in Belgrade and Beirut will cooperate with regards to Kosovo and other important international issues, the Serbian minister also underlined the significance of the fact that as of January 1 Lebanon will be a non-standing member of the UN Security Council. Jeremic has announced that Serbian soldiers will probably take part in the peace operations of UN in Lebanon, as part of the Spanish contingent.
