Papandreou: Greece will not change its opposition to Kosovo's secession
Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou has reiterated the opposition of his country to the Kosovo Albanian unilateral secession from Serbia.

"The Greek stance on this question is well known and will not change. The stability of the wider region and international law remain the bases of our policy", Papandreou said.
He said Greece would continue to work towards creating a secure and prosperous future for all inhabitants of Kosovo.
"For us, the protection of the cultural and religious identity in Kosovo is of primary importance and we will work hard in that direction. This means that the protection of the Serbian cultural and religious heritate is a high priority for the EU", Papandreou underlined.
