Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono noted during the meeting with Oliver Dulic, Serbian Minister of Environment and Spatial Planning in Bali that the respect of international law is the founding stone of Indonesian foreign policy, adding that his country will not recognise the illegally proclaimed independence of Kosovo.

Dulic thanked the Indonesian President for his country's principled stance and stressed that Indonesia, being a country with the largest number of Muslim population, is quite influential among other Asian and African states and its support to the efforts to reach a solution to the Kosovo-Metohija issue through compromise is a great comfort to Serbia's state policy.

Spain and Romania once again repeated their stance regarding the UDI of Kosovo.

Spanish Foreign Minister Miguel Angel Moratinos said that Spain will not recognize Kosovo as independent.

He said that the country will not do so until either a UN resolution is adopted regarding the issue, or an agreement has been reached between Belgrade and Pristina.

Moratinos said that Kosovo has only been recognized by about 60 of the 192 UN member-states, which means that Spain's stance is in the majority.

"If there is security, peace and stability in the Balkans, that is thanks to the decision of the five EU member-states, Spain among them," Moratinos said, referring to the EU members that have not recognized the Kosovo Albanian unilateral independence declaration, made two years ago.

"Serbia deeply appreciates the principled stance of Romania regarding the defense of principles of international law in the Kosovo and Metohija issue", Serbian Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic said during the meeting with his Romanian counterpart Emil Boc.

Cvetkovic said that Serbia "appreciates Romania's involvement in all procedural phases of determining the illegality of the unilaterally proclaimed independence of Kosovo before the International Court of Justice in The Hague".
