Jeremic: Compromise solution for Kosovo and faster integration of Balkans after ICJ decision
Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vuk Jeremic said in Luxembourg that following the opinion of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague on the legality of the unilateral declaration of Kosovo's independence, an opportunity for finding a solution that will contribute to the acceleration of European integration for the entire Western Balkans will be opened.

After meeting with Luxembourg's Foreign Minister Jean Asselborn, Jeremic said that to achieve this, a consensus is necessary.
"We should all work together to find a way to reach a compromise solution for Kosovo", Jeremic said and stressed that the compromise should be made by the EU, Serbia and the provisional institutions of Pristina.
Asselborn expressed the belief that Serbia, after the opinion of the ICJ on the independence of Kosovo, will make decisions that will contribute to the stability of the Western Balkans.
"We are convinced that Belgrade will have a sense for decisions that will be in the interest of Serbia and the entire region", said Asselborn.
