Kosovo Serbs protest against hostile move
Thousands of Serbs, gathered at a rally in Kosovska Mitrovica, advocated for the preservation of Kosovo within Serbia, voted against the strategy for the integration of the north of the Province into the Kosovo institutions and protested against the 11th anniversary of NATO bombings of Serbia.

The message conveyed from the meeting, at which the representatives of parties participating in the work of the Serbian Assembly spoke, was that the Serbs and other non-Albanians will fight with all legal means to stay and survive in Kosovo.
Head of the Kosovo-Mitrovica District Radenko Nedeljkovic reiterated that the so-called Strategy of the International Civilian Office Head Pieter Feith is unacceptable.
Nedeljkovic called upon representatives of KFOR, UNMIK, EULEX and other international organizations in Kosovo not to act outside their mandate, but remain status neutral and provide peace and security in the province.
"The strategy is the biggest fraud... it aims to ethnically cleanse northern Kosovo of the Serbs," said Radenkovic at the rally. He warned that the Serbs "will not allow it."
Before the start of the rally flowers were laid at the monument to the victims of NATO bombing at the bridge over the Ibar River.
