Even though Pristina has confirmed participation at the Western Balkans-EU summit scheduled to take place in Sarajevo on June 2, they have stated that they will not agree to participating under the name "Kosovo-UNMIK".
"We will participate only if the conditions are the same for us as they are for all other countries. If every country is represented with state symbols, we will participate," the Kosovo Albanian president said.
"It is unacceptable for us to participate under a sign that says ‘Kosovo-UNMIK' or with ties to UN Resolution 1244, which is what Serbia wants," Sejdiu said.
