Police have arrested two local Albanians who are suspected of shooting at the returnees.

Slovenian soldiers in full combat gear and armored cars are securing the several hectares on which the camp is set up.

There have been no new incidents since KFOR has arrived.

The returnees said that they hope that the situation calms down, and denied claims by local Albanians that some of the Serb returnees are war criminals.

They also expect that new houses for them will begin being built soon.

There are 22 returnees who have been living in tents in Zac for almost two months now.

The family members that left after stoning incidents and other provocations are expected to return to the village soon.
