He denied statements made by the Kosovo foreign ministry that Bosnia is close to recognizing Kosovo.
He said that RS will never allow Bosnia-Herzegovina to recognize Kosovo.
"I do not see a reason for Bosnia not to recognize our independence and I expect that it will happen soon," Kosovo Foreign Minister Skender Hyseni said recently.
"These are dreams of an illegal minister of a self-proclaimed country. I guarantee that Bosnia will never do that," Dodik said, adding that Hyseni's statement should not be taken seriously.
He said that he has not talked about the issue with other Bosnian officials because RS's stance is very clear on the issue.
"There is no kind of communication with anyone regarding the eventual recognition of Kosovo," Dodik said.
