On Friday, U.S. Judge Thomas Buergenthal gave his resignation, which will take effect in September, so it is expected that his resignation will not affect the opinion of the court.

The Pristina press reminds that this is the second resignation of a judge of the International Court of Justice in the course of reviewing the legality of Kosovo's independence declaration.
